Preschool History

Candlewyck Preschool has been offering a high quality low child ratio classes since 1999. We operate under the GS 110-106 church-licensing system. You will find our facilities to be very neat and clean and the environment to be friendly, loving, and caring.


At Candlewyck Preschool Our Staff Will Teach The Children:

  • To develop a child’s confidence and self-esteem so that they feel good about him/her self and what he/she is able to do.
  • To feel very good about being a part of the Candlewyck Preschool family.
  • To challenge the child’s creativity.
  • To encourage the child’s curiosity.
  • To realize that all that we have is a gift from God and that we must do our part to take care of each other and His world.
  • To learn to treat others with respect and kindness.
  • To work on many preschool skills, i.e., letters, colors, numbers, tying, cutting, zipping, etc.
  • To sing, laugh, share and enjoy being in a Christian community.
  • To build friendship among children, family, community and God.

The Staff will aspire:

  • To nurture in children, a love of learning a respect for one another and a joy for life.
  • To train parents for involvement in their children’s education.
  • To remain affordable for all families who believe in the cooperative approach.

Our staff would like to thank you for giving us the opportunity to be an extension of your hand.
